Cradle Mountain National Park

Cradle Mountain National Park, who's proper name is Cradle Mountain, Lake St Clair National Park, is perhaps the most popular park in Tasmania and has the distinction of being a World Heritage Listed Park.

The northern park of the park include Cradle Mountain and Dove Lake, which are popular destinations accessable to 2WD vehicles from the North, and the Southern Park of the Park, accessible from the South, Includes Lake St Clair.

For keen walkers there is a hiking track which runs from Cradle Mountain in the North to Lake St Clair in the South, it is a very famous track called the Overland track which takes most walker 6 day to complete, and travells through some of the most remote and spectacular mountain scenery which Australia has to offer.
